H&S Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced H&S Advisor on behalf of our client for a long-term contract opportunity in Royston.

• Start Date: ASAP (Immediate Start)
  
  
• Duration: Until at least the end of January 2027 (with potential for extension)
  
  
• Location: Full-time on-site (Non-hybrid) in Royston
  
  
• Pay Rate: Negotiable, dependent on experience
  
  
• Contract Type: Umbrella only (Inside IR35 / No LTD options available)
  
  

  Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day health and safety advice, guidance, and support to on-site delivery.
  
  
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure full compliance with current legislation and site standards.
  
  
• Monitor, review, and assist in the drafting of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  
  
• Investigate any on-site incidents or near-misses, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
  
  
• Promote a proactive safety culture on-site through toolbox talks, safety briefings, and direct engagement with the workforce.
  
  

  Requirements

• Proven experience working as an H&S Advisor within an industrial, engineering, or construction site environment.
  
  
• Hold a relevant health and safety qualification (such as a NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate or equivalent).
  
  
• Ability to work full-time on-site consistently.
