Join NRL's client team in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, as an EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) Engineer. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you'll be responsible for owning assigned projects to ensure excellence in execution. Your role involves defining engineering solutions, meeting budget and schedule targets, and providing detailed designs and documentation.

Additionally, you'll assist project managers in program development and monitoring, while ensuring compliance with company and client processes. Safety promotion, stakeholder relationship building, and continual improvement are key aspects of this role.

You’ll have:

  • Industrial Sector Engineering experience.

  • COMAH Tier 1 Process Manufacturing Environment knowledge.

  • Familiarity with maintenance, shutdown/outage, project, OPEX & CAPEX.

  • Understanding of control and safety system hierarchy and communication protocols.

  • Proficiency in project delivery life-cycle, engineering design, and document control processes.

  • Experience with procurement, expediting, and verification processes.

  • Strong PC skills (MS Office, drafting tools, engineering design tools).

  • Competence in risk and budget management, team leadership, reporting, planning, and scheduling.

  • A HND degree in Control, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.

  • HSEQ qualification (e.g., IOSH).
