Summary

NRL are currently recruiting Lead Commissioning Engineers to work for a high – profile client of ours in the Energy from Waste sector on a permanent basis based in Slough.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate leadership and commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ). Actively encourages and leads the contractor teams to implement and comply with project HSEQ requirements.

  • Ensures that all relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated into commissioning in consultation with site management, HSE and Commissioning team and the HSE hazards are eliminated or mitigated to the extent practicable.

  • Ensures that risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are reviewed with regards to HSEQ requirements, and that work is carried out inn accordance with the RAMS.

  • Ensures that commissioning activities within area of responsibility are executed in accordance with the contract and conform with project time and budget requirements.

  • Lead the commissioning within area of responsibility and ensure works are executed in accordance with contract requirements, and conform with the approved drawings and standards, project time and budget.

  • Liaises and coordinates with other project team members, the Commissioning Manager, Erection Supervisors, and the Quantity Surveyor regarding commissioning works on time delivery, at costs and according to the specific quality.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in role or similar.

  • Experience in one of the following disciplines: Building Services, BOP, DSC.

  • Highly regulated experience.
