NRL’s renewables client based in Glasgow is looking to recruit a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join them on an initial 6-month contract on a LTD Company basis.

About the role:
  • Ability to implement installation, testing and commissioning protocols for mechanical/electrical equipment.
  • Ability to identify and implement improvements in mechanical/electrical in process systems.
  • Support maintenance team to maintain the site to a safe and reliable standard, sharing skill and expertise with team members to ensure an efficient and effective maintenance service.
  • Manages multiple maintenance issues on a daily basis, requiring the application of expertise and prioritisation based on risk/business impact and understanding of processes.
  • Ability to produce RAMS To ensure adherence with all site specific H&S, safety rules & permit systems
  • Ability to produce scope of works.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
  • Flexible and able to work outside of normal working hours if required.
What you will need?
  • Anaerobic Digestion/Renewables experience – or similar
  • Deep knowledge and experience of mechanical/electrical/process equipment (installation, commissioning and fault finding)
  • HND qualified in Mechanical engineering or similar
  • Microsoft proficient
