Process Automation Engineer Pharma & Life Science (m/f/d)

Here's What We Need:

  • Develop and finalise the technical specifications and carry out follow-up with the supplier according to the issued specifications

  • Assist Process Engineering in the specification and tracking of pharmaceutical machinery

  • Prepare investment estimates for the field of automation

  • Perform engineering tasks using established procedures, including equipment selection, schematic design, system layout, cost estimation, and system documentation

  • Develop and implement control and automation solutions based on cause-and-effect documentation, P&IDs, control descriptions, and understanding of the environment

  • Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of instruments, control and safety systems

Here's What You'll Need:

  • Degree in engineering, electrical engineering, automation technology, chemistry or similar

  • At least 5+ years of work experience required in a similar position in an engineering firm

  • Experience in the automation and instrumentation of pharmaceutical equipment, e.g., in biotechnological production, secondary production, filling, generation and distribution of clean inputs, pharmaceutical equipment

  • Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams, P&ID prints and control systems

  • Structured and independent way of working

  • Enjoyment of working in multidisciplinary teams and taking on responsibility

  • Fluent in German (spoken and written)
