NRL are currently recruiting for a Production Engineer to work on a contract at Dogger Bank Wind Farm.

Based at the O&M facility in South Shields, this role will involve occassional travel.

Job Objective
We are looking for someone to carry out Production Engineer related tasks for the Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farm and Rotterdam Prototype Project.
A Solution orientated mindset and a result delivery style.
Strong communication and listening skills with the team are essential.
Identify operational problems from various forms of feedback and see them through to a standardised solution.
With excellent attention to detail, structure, and organizational skills, you can apply a proactive problem-solving view on turbine work scopes and take the initiative to deliver efficient outcomes.
You have a project orientated mindset and understand that good results are achieved in collaboration with internal and external parties.
Reporting functionally to the Lead Production Engineer and operationally to the Continuous Operations Readiness Manager you will be working with the Continual Operations Readiness Team to deliver on the projects mission.

Overview
Ability to read and amend turbine related documentation, RAMS, WI’s, etc.
Happy to create turbine related documentation.
Experience identifying tooling, spare parts and indirect/direct materials.
Confident working with technical documentation.
Understanding of IT and software packages.
Able to carry out the ordering of tooling and turbine related parts.
Willing to work as part of a busy and dynamic team and happy to carry out tasks alone.
Taking minutes/ notes from technical related meetings.
Ability to read troubleshooting guides and understand engineering problems.

Education/ Professional Experience Required
Qualification discipline or professional education / apprenticeship in a technical discipline. with extensive professional experience.
Capable of working onshore and offshore at site operational wind farms.
Significant experience of offshore or onshore wind Maintenance operations would be advantageous
Known ability to work in a cross-functional, global environment, with remote teams as a solid team player who can enable change and get work over the line
Successful offshore wind experience or experience in a related discipline.
High motivation level; self-starter with excellent leadership and communication skills.
High capability with various office and cloud based software.
Solid oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to research and resolve problems in a structured manner.
Demonstrated ability to Steer Projects.
Demonstrated experience heading technician teams.
