Our client is a leading provider of engineering solutions specialising in gas and steam turbine systems. With a commitment to excellence and safety, they deliver high-quality services to their clients worldwide. As they expand their operations, they are seeking skilled Riggers with Crane Certification to join their dynamic team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for experienced Riggers with Crane Certification who have a strong background in working with gas and steam turbine systems. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of turbine components and related equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Responsibilities:
Safely rigging, lifting, and moving gas and steam turbine components using cranes and rigging equipment.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings, rigging plans, and lift plans.
Operating cranes and hoisting equipment in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
Performing pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on rigging and lifting equipment.
Assisting with the assembly, disassembly, and transportation of turbine components.
Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other team members to achieve project objectives.
Adhering to strict safety standards and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Rigger in an industrial setting, with specific experience working on gas and steam turbine systems.
Valid crane operator certification
Strong understanding of rigging techniques, lift planning, and load calculations.
Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to rigging and crane operations
Rates (PAYE Only):
Basic days - £23.53
OT1 - £32.26
OT2 - £41.48
You will also be entilted to an enhanced lodge allowance, per diem, and standard hourly bonuses.
