NRL’s client, a key player in the energy sector, seeks a Senior Project Engineer/Associate Project Manager to join their Major Projects division in Irvine, focusing on the pharmaceutical industry, on a long-term contract basis, inside IR35.

About the Role:

The Senior Project Engineer/Associate Project Manager will work within a project portfolio environment, overseeing various aspects of electrical, instrument & mechanical engineering in the pharmaceutical EPC sector. This client-facing role involves evaluating technical and contractual information, ensuring compliance with project specifications and schedules, and coordinating project operations and site activities.


We ask:

  • Relevant HNC/HND in an engineering discipline.

  • Substantial experience in electrical, instrument & mechanical engineering, ideally in the pharmaceutical EPC sector within a project portfolio environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction.

  • Ability to assess technical and contractual data.

  • Proficiency in initiating and reviewing engineering design, procurement, manufacturing, shipping, sub-contract, project operations, and site activity compliance.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting project specifications and deadlines.
