Senior Ventilation Engineer – Warrington
Our client, a leader in the Nuclear industry, are now looking for a Senior Ventilation Engineer to support with their site based in Warrington.
About the role:
This project is in the latter stages of the ‘Appraise and Select Phase’
You will be required to support the design through all project phases, including the current validation of the single viable ventilation plant option.
You will be required to work closely with the multidiscipline design team and plant-based team.
You will be required to deliver the ventilation and building services work scope, production and checking of design deliverables, reporting to a Principal Ventilation/Responsible Engineer.
You will need to guide Designers and Engineers in the production of detail drawings, sub-assemblies, GA, Layout drawings, Flow diagrams and parts lists.
You may be required to produce calculations to verify the detail design and design substantiation.
The production/compiling of technical documentation (technical specifications, RA’s, Installation methodology docs, O&M manuals, etc.) will be a requirement.
What you will need
Ideally you will have skills and experience covering the below:
Previous experience in a similar role covering HVAC.
Ability to obtain Basic level security clearance (BPSS)
Suitably qualified for the role, e.g. HNC or HND
Experience within the Nuclear industry would be preferred, but any highly regulated industry experience will be considered.
