An industry leading defence contractor are seeking to recruit a Supervisor Support (administrator)  for work in Warminster on a contract basis.

About the role:

The purpose of this role is to deliver the workshop processes that enable vehicles/assets to be efficiently repaired. Working closely to support the workshop Supervisors and as part of a multi-skilled team, Supervisor Support will co-ordinate and expedite activities in the workshop to assist in making the most efficient use of workshop staff, space and parts.
  • People
    • Liaising with Supervisors to support with administration activities related to workshop delivery.
    • Liaising with internal (eg planning, I&RM, Customer Services) and external stakeholders to expedite workshop activities.
  • Tools
    • System administration – ERP, safety near misses, asset management, quality, Learning Management System (LMS)
    • Ensuring work areas remain safety compliant
    • Ensuring staff have and comply with PPE requirements
  • Process
    • Provide administrative support to conduct the following (not exhaustive) list of activities:
      • Creating material demands and emergent work (SOPADDs)
      • Requesting additional hours for emergent work from MCMO
      • Scanning paperwork into DMS
      • Focal point for James queries and obtaining responses
      • Focal point for MCMO job pack queries and obtaining responses
      • Configuration of job packs for Customer Services
      • Requesting Call ins/out from Customer Services
      • Handling NSRs/EFRs with I&RM
      • Returning spares through the 508 process
      • Logging and monitoring Cross-servicing/Cannibalisation
      • Raising RCAs & RFCs
      • Raising and monitoring FM requests
What you will need:

Essential:
  • Educated to Level 2 in National Qualification Framework (NQF) as a minimum (GCSE grade C or above, level 1 National Vocational qualification (NVQ), Level 1 diploma)
  • Administration / Customer service expereince (ideally in a workshop environment) 
Desirable:
  • Full UK driving  licence
  • Experienced or competent user of ERP system (e.g. Baan, SAP, IFS)
  • Competent and experienced user of the Joint Asset Management and Engineering Solutions (JAMES) system
