About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced
Electrical Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join our clients team on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring electrical safety, compliance, testing, inspection, and quality standards are maintained across multiple projects within the London and South East region.
This role requires a highly competent electrical professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records using digital systems.
Essential Qualifications & Experience- Approved Electrician status as a minimum
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – if not currently held
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Proven experience in electrical testing and inspection
- Computer literate with good IT skills
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
Training Provided- First Aid Qualification – arranged by client if not held
Key Responsibilities- Undertake duties associated with the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) role.
- Carry out testing and certification of electrical installations as required by TDE.
- Complete general electrical installation work when testing or SAP duties are not required.
- Conduct monthly inspections of all TDE electrical projects across the London and South East region to ensure compliance with TDE Code of Practice.
- Maintain accurate records of all testing, inspection, and compliance activities.
- Update and manage information within company and national databases as required.
- Attend meetings associated with the SAP function.
- Liaise closely with the National SAP Manager and relevant project teams.
- Ensure all electrical works are completed to current industry regulations, company procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Support continuous improvement and compliance initiatives across all projects.
