• JIB Technician Rate: £26.70 per hour
• Overtime rates applicable after 37.5 hours
• Minimum working week: 43 hours

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join our clients team on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring electrical safety, compliance, testing, inspection, and quality standards are maintained across multiple projects within the London and South East region.

This role requires a highly competent electrical professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records using digital systems.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Approved Electrician status as a minimum
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – if not currently held
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• Proven experience in electrical testing and inspection
• Computer literate with good IT skills
• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)

Training Provided

• First Aid Qualification – arranged by client if not held 

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake duties associated with the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) role.
• Carry out testing and certification of electrical installations as required by TDE.
• Complete general electrical installation work when testing or SAP duties are not required.
• Conduct monthly inspections of all TDE electrical projects across the London and South East region to ensure compliance with TDE Code of Practice.
• Maintain accurate records of all testing, inspection, and compliance activities.
• Update and manage information within company and national databases as required.
• Attend meetings associated with the SAP function.
• Liaise closely with the National SAP Manager and relevant project teams.
• Ensure all electrical works are completed to current industry regulations, company procedures, and health and safety requirements.
• Support continuous improvement and compliance initiatives across all projects.
