Job Title

Electrician – Data Centre Installation (Slough)


Summary

We’re looking for experienced Electricians to join an ongoing project at a Data Centre in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals with valid JIB and IPAF cards who want consistent work and competitive CIS rates. Lodge allowance is available for those travelling from further afield.


Salary

  • £28.00 per hour for the first 37.5 hours worked Monday to Friday
  • Midweek overtime & Saturday (first 6 hours): £36.40 per hour
  • Saturday (after 6 hours) & Sunday: £42.00 per hour

 

Location and Working Pattern

  • Location: Slough, Berkshire
  • On-site role with free parking available
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–6:00pm, and every other weekend 7:30am–4:00pm
  • Lodge allowance paid per day if your main residence is over 55 miles from site and you are physically lodging 

 

Client Overview

Our client specialises in data centre projects and is seeking reliable Electricians to support installation work on their Slough site.

 

Responsibilities

  • Carry out general installation work on a large Data Centre site
  • Install and maintain containment systems and conduit
  • Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
  • Work as part of a team to deliver the project to schedule
  • Participate in weekend work as required to meet deadlines

 

Must-have Requirements

  • Valid Gold JIB card
  • Valid IPAF licence
  • Experience in electrical installation within commercial or industrial environments

 

Nice-to-have Skills

  • Previous data centre installation experience
