Responsibilities
- Act as the main HVAC interface between engineering teams, site area/building leads, and contractors.
- Support initial installation activities and ensure smooth progress through delivery, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Share technical knowledge and expertise with site teams to aid project success.
- Review and assess Field Change Requests (FCR) and site Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for clarity, completeness, and practicality.
- Evaluate remediation plans and confirm the most appropriate solutions for implementation.
- Recommend appropriate delegation levels for FCR/NCR treatment.
- Monitor trends in issues raised and work proactively to prevent recurring problems.
- Proven experience of HVAC systems or components within multi-disciplinary projects, ideally in the nuclear sector.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow rigorous engineering standards.
- Track record of delivering engineering safely, to quality, on time, and within budget.
- Ability to lead and influence stakeholders to achieve objectives.
- Self-motivated with awareness of personal limitations.
- Knowledge of contractual and commercial practices.
- Familiarity with risk mitigation in complex infrastructure projects.
- Experience with large-scale energy or nuclear projects.
