Job Title
Lead Planner – Data Centre Projects


Summary We’re looking for an experienced Lead Planner to join our team on major data centre construction projects in Denmark. Based in Copenhagen, this role is ideal for planning professionals who can manage complex construction programmes across the full project lifecycle. You’ll play a key role in driving project delivery, improving programme efficiency and ensuring quality outcomes.

Copenhagen, Denmark – Site-based role working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.


Client Overview
Our client is a leading construction organisation delivering mission-critical projects across Europe, known for their safety culture and use of innovative technology on large-scale builds.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage baseline and target construction programmes using Primavera P6 and other planning tools.
  • Prepare and update procurement and design schedules, ensuring supply chain integration.
  • Lead programme planning during pre-construction and construction phases.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Produce regular progress reports, change impact assessments and as-built programmes.
  • Use 4D planning tools to illustrate build sequences and construction methodologies.
  • Support contractual assessments (FIDIC, NEC, JCT) with programme data.
  • Mentor and develop assistant planners in best programme management practices.

Must-have Requirements
  • Proven track record in construction project planning on large-scale builds or data centre projects.
  • Strong understanding of UK and EU contract frameworks.
  • Expert knowledge of Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject.
  • Ability to analyse complex data and provide clear reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-have Skills
  • Familiarity with BIM planning processes and collaborative data environments.
  • Experience with Synchro and 4D/BIM integration.
  • Professional membership such as CIOB, ICE or APM.
  • Advanced training in planning tools and contract awareness.
