Project: SCP as part of the PPP framework for Sellafield
Our client is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under the Programme and Project Partners (PPP). This is a 20-year arrangement to deliver~£7bn of major projects. We are currently recruiting a E3D (Formerly PDMS) Designer to support the team in Birchwood, Warrington.
As a Mechanical Designer supporting the SCP Project, you will be responsible for the following:- Execute design and Draughting activities (Detailed Design supporting the ongoing construction programme).
- Modelling of multi-discipline service supports using E3D
- Production of design drawings to a construction level of maturity. These will include general arrangement drawings, detailed support drawings, and material/item take-offs.
- Liaising with other disciplines to resolve space layout and challenges to supports.
- Must be proficient with E3D (Formerly PDMS), Aveva E3D Draft, Autodesk Plant 3D and Navisworks.
Qualifications - External- 5 years engineering experience working within a regulated industry.
- To be fully conversant with UK Statutory Regulations and industry design guides and standards relating to this discipline.
- Must be proficient with E3D (Formerly PDMS), Autodesk Plant 3D and Navisworks Manage.
