Purpose of the position:
As
Pipe Quality Inspector you will report to the Project Logistics Manager and join our BP NEP / NZT carbon capture project. You will ensure the pipes are correctly handled and will report any damage.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:- Carry out targeted inspections of pipe equipment prior to installation activities, ensuring compliance with client requirements
- Ensure that all received materials are in good condition through visual inspection and are provided with the documentation required for safe handling and storage
- Liaise with Shipping & Customs and the Expediter in case of any damage or discrepancy, to promptly initiate corrective actions and notify the Insurance Department.
- Supervise and maintain up-to-date records of services provided by local subcontractors in accordance with the relevant agreement provisions, including for the purposes of subsequent periodic invoicing.
- Issue or request Service Entries/Work Orders to formalize the services provided and enable the release of payments.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Clients in order to define and optimize goods collection/transportation according to project requirements
What are we looking for? Experience: +6 years as pipe inspector or pipe quality in a construction site environment or similar Technical skills: pipe coating inspection What we can offer to you:- Contractor role untiloctober 26, full time, outside IR35
