NRL is delighted to have been selected to work in partnership with United Infrastructure Ltd on the Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture Pipeline Project, a major long-term infrastructure programme supporting the UK’s carbon capture and decarbonisation objectives.

We are currently seeking highly experienced Pipeline Pipefitters to join this significant project. Applicants must demonstrate a strong track record of working on cross-country pipeline construction projects, with extensive hands-on experience in pipeline installation, alignment, fabrication support, and associated mechanical activities.

Successful candidates will be comfortable working to demanding quality, safety, and productivity standards within large-scale infrastructure or energy environments.

Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Pipeline Pipefitter on large-scale infrastructure, energy, or cross-country pipeline projects
  • Must be a Time Served Pipefitter
  • Strong experience in:
    • Pipe installation and fit-up
    • Alignment and bolt-up of large-bore pipework
    • Supporting welding and NDT activities
  • Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and technical specifications
  • Familiarity with working alongside mechanised welding systems and site plant
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, and quality requirements on major projects
  • Must have a Valid CSCS Card
  • UK residency or valid Right to Work (RTW) in the UK (mandatory)
Project Details
  • Start Date: From May 2026 onwards, subject to client programme and operational requirements
  • Project Duration: Long-term opportunity with ongoing work, dependent on performance and project needs
