Summary

NRL are seeking experienced Pipefitters for long-term work on nuclear projects based in Barrow. Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria – On-site position.

Client Overview

Our client plays a key role in delivering projects within the nuclear sector, prioritising safety and quality standards throughout. By joining this team, you’ll be contributing to one of the UK’s most important industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble pipework systems following engineering drawings and specifications
• Carry out on-site fabrication and alignment as required
• Test pipework systems for leaks and functionality
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain safety compliance and adhere to nuclear industry regulations
• Inspect and maintain quality documentation for completed work

 

Must-have Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Pipefitting Fabrication and Site Installation
• Valid  ACE card/ CSCS card 
• Valid CCSNG card or IOSH Working Safely

 

Nice-to-have Skills

• Previous experience within nuclear or highly regulated environments
• Ability to read complex piping schematics and isometric drawings
