Piping Quality Lead

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee site piping quality activities on behalf of NRL.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and project requirements.
- Monitor subcontractor activities against Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and report results.
- Conduct quality audits and random inspections internally and across subcontractors.
- Review and approve key documents including ITPLs and Site Work Conformance Files.
- Verify welding documentation and oversee welder performance monitoring.
- Deliver quality training to partners and team members on tools and procedures.
- Manage escalation of non-conformances and ensure resolution to prevent reoccurrence.
- Engineering/BEng degree or equivalent.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification.
- Welding Inspector qualification.
- Proven experience in piping, mechanical and welding inspection.
- Solid understanding of NDT (PT, MT, UT & RT desirable).
- Previous experience delivering quality leadership across at least two full projects.
- Proficient in MS Office and related software.
- Additional NDT certifications.
- Experience in corrosion protection (painting, galvanising).
- Knowledge of nuclear safety requirements/PED/EN.
