Job Title Planning Engineer
Summary We’re looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join a leading organisation in Kingston upon Thames. This role involves developing and managing project schedules for offshore wind projects, particularly during tender phases. It’s a great opportunity for someone with strong planning skills and experience in the energy sector to work in a hybrid environment.

Client Overview
Our client is a global leader in delivering complex engineering and construction services. Operating across the energy sector, they are recognised for their innovation and commitment to sustainability.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the Project Schedule in line with contractual requirements and internal standards
- Implement the Planning and Progress Control System
- Analyse and address any deviations from the planned schedule
- Drive schedule awareness across all project participants
- Prepare and manage 90-day look-ahead, weekly, and monthly schedules
- Support the preparation of Project Status Reports
- Assist during contract amendments and claims with time impact analysis
- Participate in risk management and schedule risk analysis activities
Must-have Requirements- 5–10 years’ experience in planning for offshore oil & gas projects, preferably offshore wind
- HNC, HND, or a bachelor’s degree
- Proven expertise in tendering project phases, T&I, and potentially EPCI projects
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
Nice-to-have Skills- Familiarity with risk analysis tools and practices
- Experience with large-scale offshore wind projects
