Summary
We’re seeking an experienced
Reliability Manager to lead the development and execution of reliability strategies across a major refinery asset. Based on-site at the refinery, this role is ideal for a seasoned reliability leader with a strong background in maintenance and asset integrity within Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or refining. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in improving equipment performance and ensuring safe, sustainable operations.
Location and Working Pattern Egypt, On-site at refinery location.

Our client is a global leader in the Oil & Gas sector, committed to operational excellence and asset integrity across large-scale refining operations.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement refinery-wide reliability strategies and objectives.
- Monitor and improve equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability metrics.
- Lead initiatives to eliminate failures and unplanned shutdowns.
- Manage condition monitoring programmes and promote predictive maintenance strategies.
- Facilitate RCM studies and lead Root Cause Analysis for recurring equipment failures.
- Analyse equipment performance and develop reports on reliability KPIs.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and HSE teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Lead and develop the refinery’s reliability engineering function, ensuring alignment with production goals.
Must-have Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 22+ years’ experience in maintenance, reliability, or asset management within Oil & Gas or refining.
- Proven experience in an operating refinery or petrochemical facility.
- Expertise in rotating and static equipment reliability, RCA, RCM, and predictive maintenance.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS systems such as SAP PM or Maximo.
- Comprehensive understanding of reliability engineering principles and failure analysis.
Nice-to-have Skills- Professional certifications such as CMRP, CRE, or RCM certification.
- API certifications relevant to refinery equipment.
- Vibration Analysis or Condition Monitoring certification.
- Familiarity with reliability and asset performance software tools.
