Senior Construction Manager

Seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to support the Abadi LNG Project on a 12‑month contract. This role will be based full-time in Leatherhead and will provide key construction leadership and execution support during the EPCI bidding phase for a major Indonesian LNG development.

Key Responsibilities

EPCI Bid & Project Execution Support

  • Support the EPCI bid process for a major Indonesian LNG project.
  • Provide construction expertise and strategic input into the Project Execution Strategy.
  • Support the development and review of ITB (Invitation to Bid) documents and associated technical deliverables.
  • Assist with bid evaluations, technical clarifications, and contractor assessments.

Construction Planning & Execution Readiness

  • Develop and refine the Construction Execution Plan for the EPC phase.
  • Provide construction input into the overall project schedule, sequencing, and milestones.
  • Review site plans and construction methodologies for all execution phases.
  • Participate in constructability workshops, risk reviews, and Lessons Learned sessions.

Multi‑Site Coordination & Technical Support

  • Conduct site and fabrication yard visits across Asia as required.
  • Travel frequently to Jakarta to collaborate with the engineering home office.
  • Work closely with engineering disciplines to ensure alignment with construction requirements and constraints.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 20 years of construction management experience.
  • Proven background in EPC and FEED for LNG projects in senior construction leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of construction planning, execution strategies, and modularisation principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced bid environment with global teams.
