Client Overview
Our client is a leading international contractor delivering complex construction projects across multiple sectors. They are known for driving innovation and upholding the highest safety and quality standards across all operations.


Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery to programme.
  • Lead and develop Site Managers, Site Agents and Supervisors to achieve project objectives.
  • Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures, promoting a zero-incident culture.
  • Monitor progress against programme, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate site setup and ensure facilities are ready prior to project launch.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships and resolve issues affecting programme, cost or quality.
  • Maintain and review all site records, logs and documentation for compliance.
  • Lead site meetings and briefings, clearly communicating priorities and safety expectations.

Must-have Requirements
  • Significant experience managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising multi-level site teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, trade requirements and project delivery within budget and timescales.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality management practices.
  • Relevant training such as IOSH or equivalent Health and Safety certification, plus site-related safety training (temporary works, working at height, lifting and cranage).

Nice-to-have Skills
  • Project management qualification or similar certification.
  • Relevant degree in construction or engineering.
  • Knowledge of BIM strategies and new construction technologies.
