About the Role We are recruiting a Site & Facilities Assistant to support a major construction project based near Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. This is a 100% site‑based position, playing a vital role in the smooth day‑to‑day operation of a busy construction site and site compound.
This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience, ideally within construction, engineering, facilities, or industrial environments, who enjoys a hands‑on, varied role supporting site operations, facilities management, and the Site Manager.

Key Duties

  • Site administration and document control
  • Facilities coordination (offices, welfare units, site compound)
  • Office supplies, PPE, and consumables management
  • Supporting the Site Manager with admin tasks
  • Arranging travel, meetings, catering, and visitors
  • Coordinating basic maintenance and site logistics
  • Supporting HSEQ compliance on site

 

Essential Experience & Requirements

  • Previous administrative experience (construction / engineering preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a site‑based environment
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Awareness of health & safety in operational environments
  • Able to commute daily to site near Ellesmere Port

 

Desirable

  • Construction or facilities administration experience
  • Facilities / site coordination exposure
  • Administration qualification (preferred, not essential)
