Storeperson

NRL are currently recruiting for a Storesperson for work in Newmarket.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 9 months

Requirements: Valid CSCS/ECS
 
Site: Commercial new build 

Job Spec: 

• Goods In & Delivery Coordination
  
  • Manage the receipt of all incoming MEP materials and equipment
  • Book in deliveries accurately using internal systems
  • Coordinate delivery schedules via the Tracking System to ensure smooth site operations
• Logistics & Distribution
  
  • Organise and oversee the safe unloading of deliveries in collaboration with forklift drivers
  • Allocate deliveries to the correct loading bays and site locations
  • Sort, collate, and distribute materials into designated floors or sections across the site
• Inventory & Records Management
  
  • Issue and accurately record all ‘free issue’ materials and equipment to subcontractors
  • Maintain clear, up-to-date records of all deliveries and material movements
  • Ensure all documentation is completed, signed off, and compliant
• Stakeholder Coordination
  
  • Work closely with subcontractors, site teams, and forklift operators to ensure timely material handovers
  • Produce and manage handover documentation, obtaining relevant sign-offs from subcontractor representatives
• Systems & Compliance
  
  • Upload delivery notes, handover documents, and records onto SharePoint/Dalux systems
  • Support waste management processes, ensuring materials are disposed of correctly in line with Wates protocols
• Health, Safety & Site Standards
  
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
  • Ensure all material handling and logistics activities are carried out in line with site health & safety regulations

 
Working Hours:
7.30am-5pm Mon-Fri
 
Rates of Pay: PAYE or Umbrella only - desired rate to be submitted alongside application
