We’re seeking an experienced Temporary Electrics Package Manager to manage all aspects of temporary electrical systems for a major construction development. This key role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing installation and maintenance to ensure power supply and safety standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Our client is a well-established construction organisation, known for delivering large-scale projects with a strong focus on safety, technical excellence, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the design, installation, and maintenance of temporary electrical systems on site
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, health and safety regulations, and project-specific requirements
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and design consultants to align activities with project milestones
• Monitor and maintain temporary electrics to support uninterrupted construction activities
• Regularly inspect installations and implement corrective measures where required
• Manage budgets, materials, and resources effectively to deliver on time and within cost
• Provide technical guidance and ensure proper certification and documentation for all systems

Must-have Requirements

• Electrical trade qualification or relevant engineering degree
• Demonstrable experience managing temporary electrical installations for construction projects
• Strong understanding of BS 7671 and associated regulations
• Experience with site planning, logistics, and integration of temporary electrical services
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
