We’re seeking an experienced Temporary Electrics Package Manager to manage all aspects of temporary electrical systems for a major construction development. This key role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing installation and maintenance to ensure power supply and safety standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Client Overview Our client is a well-established construction organisation, known for delivering large-scale projects with a strong focus on safety, technical excellence, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities- Plan and manage the design, installation, and maintenance of temporary electrical systems on site
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, health and safety regulations, and project-specific requirements
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and design consultants to align activities with project milestones
- Monitor and maintain temporary electrics to support uninterrupted construction activities
- Regularly inspect installations and implement corrective measures where required
- Manage budgets, materials, and resources effectively to deliver on time and within cost
- Provide technical guidance and ensure proper certification and documentation for all systems
Must-have Requirements- Electrical trade qualification or relevant engineering degree
- Demonstrable experience managing temporary electrical installations for construction projects
- Strong understanding of BS 7671 and associated regulations
- Experience with site planning, logistics, and integration of temporary electrical services
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
