Our local team are actively supporting the Net Zero Teesside supply chain, so are best positioned to support local candidates with work opportunities.
Net Zero Teesside is a major clean energy project designed to capture and store carbon emissions from local industry, helping to decarbonise the region while supporting the UK’s net zero goals. Construction work includes a gas-fired power station, CO2 gathering network connecting to industrial sites on Teesside, a compressor station and extensive onshore pipeline work. Before offshore pipelines and underwater storage sites will be developed to store captured emissions under the North Sea.
It presents a significant opportunity for local people and is expected to create a wide range of skilled jobs across construction, engineering, and long-term operations. Net Zero Teesside will position the region as the UK’s first decarbonised industrial cluster, providing skilled local residents with the chance to work on an industry leading project.
Net Zero Teesside is driving significant change on Teesworks, and NRL Recruitment’s team are pleased to be extending their expertise to support a number of contractors on-site.
