Electrical Construction Manager (Outside of IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager on a 3 months contract to lead and supervise the final stages of a significant development project in close proximity to Liverpool city centre.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of the project within the specified timeframe.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Completion Works: Manage and coordinate all electrical completion activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.

  • Workforce Supervision: Lead and guide the on-site workforce responsible for snagging works. Monitor progress, address any issues, and maintain a productive and efficient work environment.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all electrical installations meet industry standards and adhere to project requirements.

  • Health and Safety: Prioritize safety by enforcing health and safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other construction professionals, including project managers, engineers, and subcontractors, to achieve project milestones.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, prepare progress reports, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Electrical Engineering Qualification: The ideal candidate should hold a relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme): Possession of an SMSTS certificate is essential.

  • Construction Experience: Proven experience in managing electrical construction projects, preferably in a similar role.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide a diverse workforce.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
