NRL are looking for Electrical Supervisors with Building Services experience to work on a major project.

Role Purpose: 

A Supervisor would be expected to be part working and have a greater level of knowledge and experience to that of a Chargehand she/he would also be expected to supervise the Chargehand/s on a day-to-day basis. She/he would also take ownership of the listed basic minimum requirements. 

Key Accountabilities and Deliverables: 

  • Supervise larger teams of work colleagues including Chargehands 

  • Attended Internal Safety for Supervisors course 

  • Carry out Site Inductions 

  • Carry out Tool Box Talks 

  • Manage Quality Control and Prepare snag/defect sheets and subsequent clearance 

  • Liaise with Main Contractor 

  • Prepare material take offs and input the requisitions, materials and plant 

  • Record goods received and inspect for quality 

  • Complete diary and daily site reports 

  • Complete day work sheets 

  • Record time and materials (Incentive Scheme) 

  • Arrange material delivery, Storage and Distribution 

  • Prepare short-term programmes 

  • Prepare timesheets 

  • Understand industry working rules 

  • Implement Inspection and Testing Plan 

  • Prepare record drawings 

  • Prepare Method Statements / Risk Assessments 

  • Organise cabins, storage and site plan 

  • Ensure correct drawings / specifications are in use 

  • Control all PPE issue 

  • Adhere to Company Disciplinary Procedures – In conjunction with Divisional Labour Manager  

  • Basic Awareness of Monitoring Others (Apprentices / Trainers etc.) 

  • Attend site meetings as directed 

  • A basic knowledge of the company “Mosaic” and “CDS” systems technology would be expected 

  • Monitor and supervise the performance of Sub Contractors 

  • Ensure all “defects” are signed off 

  • Check Commissioning progress and sign offs 

  • Control Safety Permits and Maintain Site Safety files 

  • Maintain Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental standards 

  • Process the return of surplus/unsatisfactory goods 

  • Complete and manage stores tool/plant requisitions and returns
