Job Title: Materials Controller

NRL have a fantastic opportunity as we are currently looking for a Materials Controller to join our clients team. Our client are constructing a new energy from waste power plant in the Northwich area.  As a Materials Controller, you'll play a crucial role in our clients Energy-to-Waste project in the UK. You'll handle all duties associated with the material control office, ensuring the smooth operation of our material/inventory management system.

This role requires significant interface with discipline superintendents and site management to facilitate the receipt and issuance of materials.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform filing, posting, and preparation of documents and forms.

  • Enter data into the material/inventory management system.

  • Handle emails, and copy documents.

  • Assist Materials Manager as needed.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two (2)+ years of relevant experience.

  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technical/Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Construction experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong written and oral communication.

  • Proficiency in database management and MS Office.

  • Basic contract comprehension.

  • Data entry proficiency.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Understanding of schedules and planning.

Pay:

£15.00 - £18.00 per hour depending on experience

Hours:

Mon - Fri - 10hr shifts
