Job description
 

NRL are very proud to be working with one of the leading Tier 1 M&E Contractor. 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor to join the team within the North East to support the construction of an advanced car battery gigafactory in Sunderland.  With a strong pipeline of work our client is able to offer these roles on a permanent basis. The opportunity to work on a project of this scale is rarely seen in the North East and offers candidates a chance to progress their careers within an emerging construction market.

  • Building Services/HVAC background required
  • Time served HVAC/Pipefitter or Sheet Metal Ductworker (Duct Fitter) 

 
Reporting into the Project Manager, this role will be accountable for delivery of the mechanical elements of the project and provide the resources required for natural growth in the region.


Duties will include:

Effectively manage sub-contractors for certain packages on site, Heating, Cooling, Infrastructure, Ventilation, Duct Work, Fire, Sprinkler and Dry Riser, Clean Utilities.

Support Project Manager/ Site Engineers with project budget and costs are managed effectively
 

 
Required Experience:

Relevant mechanical qualification…. i.e.. SSSTS certification and CSCS card
Adapts to flexible and changing schedules
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to prioritize multiple business unit needs, tasks, projects, and demands
