To support the procurement team and be the key internal procurement contact for the business as a whole.
Specific Areas of Responsibility:
- Support Buyers in submitting requests for quotations from suppliers for goods and services
- Solve internal queries, problems with orders or invoices in an efficient and timely manner
- Manage and maintain Procurement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Provide support to Supplier Relationship Management programme as an when required
- Review order acknowledgements for accuracy, raise anomalies with relevant Buyer and update system and file as appropriate
- Approved Supplier List and Audit assessment co-ordinator
- Operational meeting & PLOW co-ordinator
- Ensure Master Data in Strategix is up to date and accurate
- Work with the Facilities team for the management of Facility supplier requirements and co-ordinate facility programme requirements
- Expediting purchase orders as required or requested
- Work with our Internal Logistics team to ensure we have a clear understanding of current stock levels, consumption data, forecasts and trends and supporting inventory investigations, to reconcile stock
- Maintaining relationships with internal departments / suppliers and sourcing new suppliers as required
- Responsibility for preparing supplier performance and financial reporting
- Take responsibility for the Supplier NCR process working with the Project Manager, Supplier and QA to resolve and close out
- General office administrative duties such as making enquires, gathering info, data entry, scanning, filing etc
- Stationary & Consumables co-ordinator
- Any additional duties as required for the effective operation of the business including working in other areas if needed
- Compliance with company procedures and policies.
- Display a professional, acceptable attitude and image for all work associated with and undertaken
Qualifications:
NQV level 3 Business Administration or equivalent (Essential)
CIPS Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Procurement and supply operations (Desirable)
Experience & Knowledge:
Previous experience in an administrative role in a fast-paced office environment - (prior purchasing and / or supply chain experience) is essential
Previous experience of working in a Nuclear based environment would be an advantage
