Quality Control Inspector

About the role:

NRL are currently recruiting a Quality Control Inspector for a leading client at Hinkley Point C. As Quality Control Inspector, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and successful delivery of one of Europe’s largest construction projects. By joining this project you’ll be part of an endeavor that will contribute to Britain’s Net-Zero goals.

Duties:

The role of Quality Control Inspector requires ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are achieved throughout all phases. You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting inspections of electrical and instrumentation installation

  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures

  • Identify any non-conformities

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings

  • Liaise with client representatives for conducting daily inspections


Additional details:

This is a full time site based role, with a 4 day week every other week.

We welcome applications from non-local candidates as a secondment and accommodation allowance can be available.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a security clearance which entails a criminal record check and references from previous 3 years employment.

Requirements:

For this role, we are looking for candidates with the below:

  • A relevant technical qualification e.g. degree, apprenticeship or NVQ in a mechanical discipline.

  • Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role

  • Experience with rotational equipment

  • Familiarity with industry standards e.g. ISO 9001, IEC.
