Subsea Structural Engineer – Contract outside IR35
An advanced technological and engineering platform for the design, construction and operation of safe and sustainable complex infrastructure and plants.
Currently looking for an experience Subsea Structural Engineer to join the team in London working on a large subsea installation based in South America.
Skills required:
- Capable of performing subsea structural analysis works and develop technical solutions to design requirements.
- Degree qualified structural engineer with min. 5 years design experience in offshore subsea structures (such as, FLETs, Manifolds, Suction piles and large mud-mats).
- Knowledge of structural computational modelling and analysis (FEA).
Software and qualifications:
- FEA software ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D solid elements)
- Beam software SACS and hand calculations
- Knowledge of the standards API 2A WSD, AISC 9th Edition (structures) and DNV-ST-N001 (marine operation).
- Experience with MathCAD software is preferred
