Summary We’re seeking an experienced EC&I Engineer to join a major project at Sellafield, Cumbria. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who excel in delivering Electrical, Control and Instrumentation engineering within complex environments. Location and Working Pattern Sellafield, Cumbria – Contract role, 37 hours per week


Responsibilities

• Deliver EC&I engineering outputs within agreed scope, quality, cost and schedule requirements.
• Produce and review engineering documentation in alignment with project requirements and procedures.
• Apply relevant engineering standards, codes of practice and design guidance.
• Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Identify, document and manage engineering assumptions, constraints and risks.
• Support engineering checking, verification and review activities.
• Ensure all work is delivered with a strong focus on safety, quality and compliance.
• Contribute to engineering assurance processes and governance requirements.

Must-have Requirements

• Proven experience delivering EC&I engineering within an engineering or project environment.
• Ability to produce engineering deliverables in accordance with defined specifications and procedures.
• Strong understanding of applicable engineering standards and industry best practice.
• Experience working as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
• Capability to identify and record engineering assumptions, risks and constraints.
• Familiarity with reviewing, checking and verification processes.
• Demonstrable commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant EC&I engineering experience appropriate to the level of responsibility.
