Engineering Technical Administrator Location: Chorley

Our client is seeking an organised and proactive
Engineering Technical Administrator to join their growing team in Chorley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator, coordinator, or project support professional looking to work within a technical and engineering-led environment. Supporting engineering and business functions, you will play a key role in ensuring records are maintained, meetings are coordinated, actions are tracked, and governance activities remain on schedule. This is a varied position offering exposure to continuous improvement initiatives, reporting, document control, training coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate meetings, workshops, reviews, and team activities.
- Prepare meeting packs, record actions, and track progress against deadlines.
- Maintain registers, trackers, governance records, and documentation.
- Support document control and information management activities.
- Produce and maintain reports, management information, and performance data.
- Assist with internal communications, presentations, and team updates.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and maintain training records.
- Support continuous improvement programmes and lessons learned initiatives.
- Liaise with engineers, managers, and wider business stakeholders to ensure information is accurate, accessible, and up to date.
About You To be successful, you will have:
- Previous administration, coordination, project support, or technical administration experience.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint.
- Experience maintaining records, trackers, compliance documentation, or reporting information.
- A proactive approach and the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the business.
Desirable Experience- Experience working within engineering, manufacturing, construction, energy, or other technical environments.
- Exposure to quality, governance, compliance, or management systems.
- Experience using SharePoint or similar document management platforms.
- Experience supporting audits, reporting activities, training administration, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience.
