Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to employees, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to IT equipment and systems.
- Ensure a high level of customer service while assisting users with technical concerns.
- Log and manage support requests in accordance with organisational procedures.
- Escalate complex issues to the relevant support teams when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions.
- Proven experience in an IT support or technical assistance role.
- Strong understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Ability to provide clear guidance to non-technical users.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools and ticket management systems.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and IT security practices.
- Previous experience in the oil and gas sector.
