We’re seeking an experienced Site HSE Advisor to support a major Liverpool Bay decommissioning and carbon capture project, based in Talacre, Wales. This role suits professionals with strong safety management expertise in Oil & Gas and construction environments. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on a high-profile project.

Salary £550 per day (Outside IR35)
Location and Working Pattern Talacre, Wales – fully on-site. Please note, there may be occasional Saturday morning requirements.
Client Overview Our client is delivering one of the most significant projects in the region – the decommissioning of Liverpool Bay assets while integrating carbon capture initiatives. Committed to high safety and environmental standards, they are looking for dedicated specialists to join their team.

Responsibilities
  • Drive HSE awareness through workforce engagement and training initiatives
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor contractor and equipment compliance
  • Manage risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis, and safe work practices
  • Oversee Permit-to-Work systems and hazardous material controls
  • Report on HSE performance, track KPIs and assist with incident investigations
  • Promote environmental compliance and sustainability throughout site operations
Must-have Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in HSE or engineering-related field
  • Several years’ experience within the Oil & Gas sector
  • Knowledge of onshore project construction, regulations and standards
  • Ability to manage safety systems and risk controls effectively
Nice-to-have Skills
  • Experience with IOGP and IMCA contractor standards
  • Previous involvement in EPIC (Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning) phases
  • Flexibility to support occasional Saturday working requirements
