Mobile Electrician

Location:

Mobile role covering the Midlands region (base location: Regeneration House, Gorsey Lane, B46 1JU)

 

Rate:

£22.00 per hour PAYE + Holiday Pay (£25.19 inclusive)

 

Duration:

Until 30th September, with potential to become permanent

 

Vehicle:

Own vehicle required initially – mileage expenses reimbursed

The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an Approved Electrician to join a well-established organisation delivering electrical maintenance services across multiple sites throughout the Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who enjoys a varied, mobile role carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. The position offers immediate work through to the end of September, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment
• Respond to reactive maintenance issues across multiple sites
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current electrical regulations and company standards
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of completed works
• Liaise effectively with site teams, supervisors and clients
• Travel between sites across the Midlands region as required
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures and best practices

 

Essential Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• Proven experience carrying out electrical maintenance, including both PPM and reactive works
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
• Willingness to travel between multiple sites across the Midlands

 

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• AM2 Certificate
• Previous experience in a mobile maintenance role
• Experience working across multiple commercial or industrial sites
