Location and Working Pattern Remote role with occasional on-site travel across UK locations.
Client Overview Our client is delivering a significant technology programme, focusing on automation and AI integration to enhance operational capabilities and drive innovation.
Responsibilities- Define scalable architectures, data flows, and system integrations.
- Shape technical strategy in line with business objectives and enterprise standards.
- Provide technical architecture leadership across automation and AI initiatives.
- Design robust, future-proof solutions capable of meeting evolving needs.
- Assess emerging technologies and deliver proof-of-concepts.
- Support the full project lifecycle from concept through to implementation.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders.
- Identify and manage technical risks and dependencies.
- Drive operational efficiency, automation adoption, and reduction of technical debt.
- Support M&A activities through technical due diligence and system integration.
Must‑have Requirements- Proven experience as a Technical Architect across multiple technology domains.
- Strong knowledge of frameworks such as ITIL, Prince2, TOGAF, and Archimate.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience working within matrixed environments and timely delivery settings.
- Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
- Automation expertise (e.g., Power Platform, UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
- AI knowledge including LLMs, Copilots, and Microsoft AI ecosystem.
- Experience with data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks).
- Broad enterprise technology exposure (ServiceNow, CRM, ERP, EUC, infrastructure, cloud).
- Solid understanding of Azure and cyber security frameworks (SIEM, XDR, NIST, ISO27001).
- Sole UK national requirement.
Nice‑to‑have Skills- Proven experience supporting M&A processes from the technical perspective.
- Familiarity with emerging digital transformation technologies and architectures.
