Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Architect to deliver the detailed engineering scope for multiple building types on a major oil and gas project. This role is ideal for a qualified architect with strong industrial project experience and a solid background in sustainable building design. You’ll contribute to complex projects across operational, maintenance and accommodation facilities.

- Woking
- 4.5 days in the office with Friday PM off
Client Overview
Our client, a leading provider of engineering services to the energy sector, is managing large-scale projects for Saudi Aramco. They require skilled professionals to deliver specialised architectural design services and engineering solutions for industrial buildings within oil and gas facilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop architectural philosophy, strategy and specifications for project buildings
- Produce and review detailed design documents and drawings
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines and UK-based design teams
- Create 3D models, plans, sections, elevations and detail drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
- Prepare and maintain building matrix documentation
- Generate technical reports and scopes of work for building aspects
- Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and bills of quantities (BOQs)
- Qualified Architect (RIBA Chartered preferred)
- Previous experience with Saudi Aramco or projects in Saudi Arabia
- Strong background in process plants, oil & gas and industrial projects
- Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient building design and certification (BREEAM, LEED)
- Experience with Middle East building projects
- Ability to work collaboratively with global workshare teams
- Familiarity with regional building codes and standards
