Lead Telecoms Engineer
Summary
Seeking expressions of interest for a potential upcoming project with starts expected towards the end of June. This role will oversee telecom system design delivery for an onshore oil & gas facility, ensuring compliance and integration with other disciplines.

Competitive day rates (outside IR35)

Woking, UK – Office-based

Responsibilities

• Lead telecom system design including fibre-optic, wireless, and voice communication systems
• Prepare technical specifications and interface documents
• Review vendor submissions and drawings for compliance
• Support system integration and testing requirements
• Lead design reviews ensuring timely delivery and issue resolution
• Oversee documentation and liaise with other engineering disciplines

Must-have Requirements

• Demonstrable telecom systems experience for major oil & gas facilities
• Knowledge of IP networking, fibre-optics, and communications protocols
• Familiarity with FEED and detailed design deliverables for telecom scope

Nice-to-have Skills

• Experience delivering projects to Aramco standards (SAES) highly desirable
• Competence in software relevant to telecom network design
