Job Title Senior Process Engineer – Biopharma
Summary We’re looking for an experienced Lead Process Engineer to join a global engineering team supporting major biopharmaceutical projects in Cork, Ireland. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in process design and team leadership who wants to contribute to life-changing innovations for patients worldwide.

Client Overview Our client is a leading provider of specialist design and project execution services to the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. They deliver complete solutions across the project lifecycle, from concept development to commissioning and validation.
Responsibilities- Lead system design teams responsible for high-purity utilities and complex process systems.
- Manage and provide technical leadership within the Process Technology group.
- Develop planning concepts and prepare cost forecasts.
- Create and review specifications and bills of quantities.
- Support sales and proposals during bid phases.
- Oversee process design through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Contribute to project risk management and regulatory compliance evaluations.
Requirements- Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in process plant design, realisation, and commissioning within the life sciences sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of biotechnological processes, including USP, DSP, CIP, SIP, and associated technologies (stainless steel and single-use systems) OR experience in pharmaceutical dosage forms.
- Understanding of biosafety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to lead teams effectively and maintain a client-focused approach.
