Job Description:
NRL are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Welding Supervisor to join one of our major clients on Sizewell B. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong welding background and supervisory experience to oversee site operations and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate welding activities on site
• Ensure all welding work complies with relevant codes, standards, and specifications
• Monitor quality, productivity, and performance of welding teams
• Promote and enforce health & safety regulations at all times
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other site personnel
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical support to team members

Requirements:

• Full apprenticeship in a relevant trade or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Welding
• ECITB SMTD Modules (as required)
• Valid CCNSG Safety Passport, IOSH Managing Safely, or NEBOSH Certificate
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 (or above) in Supervisory Management
• Must hold current CTC (Counter Terrorist Check) Clearance
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of welding procedures, standards, and inspection processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
