Job Description:
NRL are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Welding Supervisor to join one of our major clients on Sizewell B. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong welding background and supervisory experience to oversee site operations and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate welding activities on site
- Ensure all welding work complies with relevant codes, standards, and specifications
- Monitor quality, productivity, and performance of welding teams
- Promote and enforce health & safety regulations at all times
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other site personnel
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical support to team members
Requirements:
- Full apprenticeship in a relevant trade or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Welding
- ECITB SMTD Modules (as required)
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport, IOSH Managing Safely, or NEBOSH Certificate
- CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 (or above) in Supervisory Management
- Must hold current CTC (Counter Terrorist Check) Clearance
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of welding procedures, standards, and inspection processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
