Document Control Assistant/Administrator - NRL is looking for a Document Control Assistant/Administrator for a 12-month contract role for our client in the Engineering sector.

What will you need:

  • Worked in an Engineering Environment

  • Experience working on a construction site would be beneficial

  • Understanding of Engineering and Construction documentation

  • Excellent eye for detail

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Good knowledge of working with Excel

  • Understanding of Supplier documentation

  • Some knowledge of WorkPacks

  • Visibility / knowledge of an eDMS (electronic Document Management System) would be advantageous but training on this can be given


About the role:

  • The Document Control Assistant/Administrator will report direct to the Principal Document Controller.

  • Full training for the applicable role will be given, incorporating the eDMS system.

  • You will be responsible to assisting Engineers and site personnel with documents and drawings as well as keeping all indexes and hard copy drawing files up to date.

  • You will be responsible for policing all hard copy WorkPacks on Site, updating applicable index’s and notifying personnel of new drawings and updates to the packs.
