Facilities Managers - Speke

Overview:

NRL is looking for 2 Facilities Managers to join our team in Speke on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?

  • The role holder will manage the delivery of the Hard Facilities Services for the Knowsley Schools PFI estate.

  • To ensure Equans meet the rectification targets for all reactive works and site team PPM activity.

  • To work with the Helpdesk function and site teams to ensure all completion times for planned, corrective and reactive works are correctly logged and recorded.

  • To deputise for the Account Manager as necessary.

  • To oversee small & medium sized variation works as requested by the client, ensuring all elements of pricing, CDM and internal contractual requirements are met.

  • Support Equans’ Project Management division with larger Variations as and when appropriate.

  • To manage, motivate and inspire the Equans’ site teams.

  • Carry out monthly Manager Safety Visits and record findings in the AIMs system.

  • To conduct monthly audit checks of legislative compliance folders with the site teams and escalate any concerns to the Technical Services Manager as necessary.

  • To ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment, and quality are effectively managed through the use of risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both Equans employees and end users.

  • To work closely in support of the Works Cost Co-Ordinator to ensure consistent accuracy of all billing streams and enable timely processing and payment of completed works.

  • Attend Quarterly SLT meetings as requested to provide contract level operational input

Who are we looking for?

  • Excellent Customer skills with an ability to manage customer’s expectations.

  • Experience of managing small to medium sized variation works.

  • Able to deal professionally and reasonably with conflict and disagreement.

  • Experience of using a CAFM system.

  • Excellent motivation and influencing skills.

  • Sound understanding and experience of risk assessment / management – ideally hold IOSH

  • Accreditation

  • Thorough knowledge and experience of Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality assurance systems.

  • Good negotiation skills.

  • Good presentation, influencing and motivation skills.

  • PC Literate and knowledge of MS Office applications, able to use Excel.

  • Good commercial awareness.
