We’re recruiting an experienced 4D Planner to join high-profile infrastructure projects based in either Chester or Chorley. This hybrid role is ideal for professionals passionate about digital construction and advanced BIM delivery, offering the opportunity to contribute to major engineering programmes and influence project outcomes.
Due to the nature of the work, only sole British nationals will be considered for this position. Location and Working Pattern Based in Chester or Chorley, with a
hybrid working arrangement combining on-site and remote working.
Client Overview Our client is a leading organisation driving innovation within the engineering and infrastructure sector, delivering complex projects with a strong emphasis on digital transformation.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage 4D models to support project delivery across the full lifecycle.
- Plan and optimise construction sequencing aligned with project timelines.
- Coordinate BIM models and manage digital construction workflows.
- Integrate time, design, and data in 4D environments for improved project outcomes.
- Oversee drawing and model management across project phases.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure accuracy and constructability.
- Present 4D simulations and facilitate workshops with key stakeholders.
Must-have Requirements- Proven experience in 4D planning and BIM coordination within infrastructure or engineering projects.
- Proficiency in Synchro Pro, Navisworks, and Revit.
- Ability to manage and interpret complex 3D/4D models and integrate project data.
- Eligibility: Applicants must hold sole British nationality due to security clearance requirements.
Nice-to-have Skills- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SimpleBIM, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practice in digital engineering.
- Background in construction or engineering design environments.
