Summary
We are looking for an experienced HSE professional to join our client’s team in Frankfurt. This role combines delivering effective Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) training for site inductions with providing hands-on advisory support for a large construction project. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about safety culture, continuous improvement, and workforce engagement.

Our client is a global engineering consultancy supporting major infrastructure and construction projects. They have a strong commitment to health, safety, and quality throughout their operations.


Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging HSE training and induction programmes for site personnel.
• Prepare and present training materials, risk awareness campaigns, and safety programmes.
• Promote a positive safety culture through mentoring, coaching, and workforce engagement.
• Provide practical HSE advisory support on complex construction sites, liaising with supervisors and contractors.
• Conduct construction risk assessments, method statement reviews, and workplace inspections.
• Identify unsafe conditions and behaviour, intervene appropriately, and recommend preventive measures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HSE performance across the organisation.
• Maintain compliance with HSE regulations and company standards at all times.

Must-have Requirements

• Fluent in German (mandatory) and proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Extensive knowledge of HSE regulations, safety programmes, and industry best practices for large construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience delivering HSE training and conducting site sessions.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills with confidence leading diverse audiences.
• Practical experience in risk assessment, RAMS reviews, and implementing HSE controls.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across multicultural teams.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Turkish language skills.
• Previous experience as an HSE Trainer, HSE Specialist, or Supervisor.
• Knowledge of international HSE standards and German regulatory requirements.
• Experience training multilingual workforces.
• Strong organisational and administration skills.
• Relevant HSE certifications and qualifications.
