HVAC Engineer

Job Description: HVAC Engineer (Contract) Location: Boxmeer, Netherlands
Contract Duration: Up to 12 months
Rate: Up to €95/hour (inclusive of agency charges)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to support a major greenfield project in Boxmeer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC design, qualification, and field execution within complex industrial or pharmaceutical environments. This role requires hands-on site presence and the ability to work closely with construction, CQV, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support HVAC engineering activities across design, installation, and qualification phases.
• Oversee field and site works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (CQV, construction, utilities, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems.
• Review technical documentation, design packages, and commissioning/qualification protocols.
• Troubleshoot field issues and provide technical guidance during installation and start‑up.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance during all on‑site activities.
• Contribute to project reporting, schedule updates, and technical decision-making.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC engineering.
• Strong background in greenfield projects.
• Proven experience with HVAC system qualification within regulated environments (pharma/biotech preferred).
• Extensive field and site experience, including supervision of contractors and installation teams.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and qualification documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills and capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
