Location and Working Pattern Kildare, Ireland – Full-time, on-site
Client Overview Our client is a global engineering consultancy delivering major industrial and high-tech projects. They are recognised for delivering excellence in design, construction support and commissioning across multiple industries.
Responsibilities- Lead Mechanical/HVAC design activities for assigned project areas.
- Develop, review and coordinate BIM models for mechanical and HVAC systems, ensuring accuracy, clash resolution and compliance with design standards.
- Support installation of mechanical/HVAC systems, resolving technical queries and ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Conduct field inspections, verify installation quality and support commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, process, architectural and construction management.
- Ensure adherence to cleanroom and contamination control standards.
- Review technical submittals, method statements and contractor proposals.
- Maintain accurate records, including model updates and as-built data.
- Champion safety, quality and continuous improvement throughout site activities.
Must-have Requirements- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong experience delivering mechanical/HVAC systems for large-scale industrial or manufacturing projects.
- Proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks or equivalent.
- Previous experience on major construction projects.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, BIM models and specifications.
- Familiarity with construction quality standards and commissioning activities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
Nice-to-have Skills- Knowledge of cleanroom HVAC systems, contamination control processes or semiconductor facility requirements.
